Lust For Life / Houstatlantavegas Fan Video
Drake - Lust For Life x HoustonAtlantaVegas [mash-up video] from 5846 Productions on Vimeo.
"Seeing as how I’m currently infatuated with Drake’s So Far Gone mixtape, I was excited to see this dope fan made project for the first 2 tracks off that project. Lyle at 5846 Films mashed up “Lust For Life” and “HoustAtlantaVegas” with footage from Wong Kar-Wai’s 2046. I’ve never seen that movie, but the visuals alone look fly. Combining them with Drake’s melancholy intro and ode to the ladies in the club turned out to be a great fit."

Best I Ever Had
That’s right folks… the brand new (Kanye West directed) video from Drizzy Drake Rodgers! And if you haven’t already, cop the single on iTunes. Now stop reading, press play, and enjoy the lovely lady visuals. Drake has definitely reqruited himself a bunch of basketball players big chested, flexible women for his team. 1:20 mark… says it all. And I couldn’t stop laughing at Trey & Fab’s Craig & Smokey impression at 3:13. Daaaaaammn.

Dom Kennedy - Future Street / Drug Sounds

I’ve never heard of the LA Native (Lemert Park) Dom Kennedy till I was peeping Levi Maestro's video blog (Maestro Knows) which is posted below, and came to find out after listening to a couple of tracks of his myspace... The kid is dope. The tape is dope too. I’m shocked that I overlooked him this far. Dom has a very refreshing flow and style. The beats are very laid back as well and work very well with Dom’s flow. Download the mixtape HERE.

Drake Signs With Young Money Records
Well hip-hop heads the wait is over: After months of speculation, Drake has chosen to go with the home team and sign with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Records, according to a source close to the situation. The deal breaks down as a joint venture between Young Money and Cash Money, with Universal Republic distributing. Drake’s management was adamant that he should be viewed as an independent artist, although Universal will distribute the project.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING MIKE

The Internet has been buzzing with the unfortunate passing of Michael Jackson. One of our generations greatest performers and fully worthy of his title as the “King of Pop”, his legacy will be remembered and carried on for generations to come. As Benny Gold stated in a morning interview I heard, "Michael Jackson is undoubtedly our generation’s Elvis Presley". While he hasn’t been in the limelight or making music as of late (but was set to embark on a tour which I intended on going to), his work speaks volumes about his impact on the world as we know it. R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

Lakers Pool Party
Lakers Win Swim from Mike Fischer on Vimeo.
Laker fans in LA celebrate the championship with an impromptu pool party.
“We’re all going to get arrested.”
Laker Fans Over React
Defiled, during the L.A. “celebration” last night.People can we act like we been here before... Like the other 14 times!!!! This is not the first Championship...
These guys would be a lot cooler if they were singing this song
There’s always a couple of bad apples who spoil it for everybody else.
Come on, guys! If you’re going to celebrate, celebrate smart. Throwing a trash can at the Metro Line is not the right way to show your love for the Lakers. Buy a shirt. Buy a hat. Drink a beer with your friends at a bar or at your house. Throwing a trash can isn’t that cool.
